VoiceViewer Technologies announces Hands-Free Voice Charting Software for Nursing Applications.
VoiceViewer Technologies, Inc. announced today a major addition to their nurse-centric voice charting software product suite. Nursing personnel are now able to complete their patient assessment tasks and simultaneously enter the patient data into the hospitals' Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system. "Our hands-free voice charting system eliminates the need for the nurse to type patient data using keyboard entry, saves nursing time, enhances the accuracy of the patient data into the EMR and allows the patient to be part of their care process" said Mr. Michael Petera, President of VoiceViewer. "Our software allows nurses to concentrate on the patient care process, rather than on the documentation process currently associated with EMR systems. Our 'hands-free' mode helps reduce the threat of infection spread through the use of community electronic devices" said Mr. Petera.

VoiceViewer Technologies announces Voice Charting Software for Nursing Applications utilizing Smartphone Technology.
VoiceViewer Technologies, Inc. announced today the transition of their nurse-centric voice charting software product suite onto Smartphone platforms. "With the advent of numerous medical applications that can operate on a Smartphone, VoiceViewer has entered a new era of application development for the nursing community" said Mr. Michael Petera, President of VoiceViewer Technologies. The Smartphone takes the place of the well-known laptop, currently used for patient data input tasks, and integrates the voice-capability of the device to transmit patient data into the hospitals' Electronic Medical Record (EMR). VoiceViewer's software product suite functions on both the Windows Mobile Operating System environment and the Android Operating System environment.

VoiceViewer Technologies attends HIMSS conference in Chicago.
The 2009 Healthcare Information and Management Systems Society (HIMSS) conference was attended by VoiceViewer's Vice President of Business development, Mr. Stephen Kennedy. The HIMSS Conference & Exhibition allows hospitals and physician practices to explore and interact with electronic medical record applications and other IT solutions and equips them with the knowledge to use these products in meaningful ways.
More than 900 exhibiting companies - from Fortune 500 to start-ups - showcased their latest healthcare innovations.
